Somewhere towards the middle of the Revolution, the Texians got the idea that an army isn't just a bunch of guys fighting in the same place at the same time. They need to be fighting TOGETHER. (Cooperation at that level is somewhat anathema to the Texian mindset, but they did eventually get it.)
